Tuned Mass Damper

ME 517 Term Project: Apr. 2022 - Jun. 2022

The overall goal of this project is to develop new laboratory equipment for the Cal Poly Vibrations lab, with Dr. Hemanth Porumamilla as the direct sponsor of this project. As a term project for the entire class, this was a large group project, unlike my previous lab and project experience. As the only shop tech in the class, I was able to enable off-hour shop access and had the leading manufacturing background. This led to me standing up for a leading role in this manufacturing project. As we all worked together on the overall design of the product, I helped organize manufacturing plans, BOM, and project planning.
